Its that time again! Time for amazing deals on school supplies. The competition around Austin has gotten heated due to the recent addition of Staples to the areas Office Supply store lineup.
I would like to remind everyone that Target and Walmart DO price match local ads. If you do not feel up to stopping at OfficeMax, Office Depot, and Staples to complete your school purchases, just stop at either Target or Walmart with the printed ads and make your purchases stress free!
Also, Office Depot and Office Max do accept competitor coupons so the 15% off Staples coupon can be used for your purchases at those stores.

Over the past week I have seen at several Wags in the Austin area clearance bottles of Wisk for $5.19. These are not the little bottle of Wisk, these are the gigantoid 74 load bottles. I found a $1 off coupon here just click on the “Try Wisk HE” tab and click “Download Coupon”. You are able to print two coupons. For those trying to save ink, the ad prints at the bottom.
To be honest, I have only been to Quiznos once in my life since they opened in Austin around 1995. But what are coupons supposed to do? Get new customers to the store and this $2.99 meal deal coupon did just that. For $2.99 plus tax I got a California Club Sub, chips, and a drink.

One of the items I thought would be great for the care packages was wipes. Thanks to those lovely yellow coupons at HEB, I was able to accumulate 14 travel packages of Seventh Generation baby wipes 36ct. The coupon was for 1.50 off ANY package of Seventh Generation baby wipes. The travel packs were 2.48 – the coupon came out to .98 a pack. Due to a coupon glitch, I actually on paid about $4 for all 14 packages.
One goal I had this year was to learn to save money at Randalls the same way I can at Walgreens, Target, or CVS. Even though I started couponing almost three years ago, Randalls always seemed so complicated to me. Today’s trip is only my third or fourth actual planned savings trip to Randalls. Other than buying the wrong body wash and razor, I actually did pretty well. Here is the breakdown:
